- A commitment to integrity, trust and respect as we strive toward a more just and civil society
- A belief in the transformational power of equitable access to education, basic needs and a safe living environment

Funding and Administration
The foundation will be funded by the equity and estate resources of Galen & Patricia Ho until the Board of Trustees determines it should be terminated or upon the passing of Galen Ho, Patricia Ho, Tricia Rupright and Peter Ho. Its wealth management portfolio will be handled by our current Merrill Lynch team based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Galen will be responsible for working with its legal advisor to establish its structure and IRS 501(c)3 application and any requirements for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
In determining the distribution of assets toward fulfillment of our Mission/Intent/Guiding Principles, these decisions will be made by our Board of Trustees consisting of Galen I.
